Pray that the peace is restored

Its one of the busiest cities of India, which had to experience the worst in its history. Everyone was shell shocked to see whats happening in the city.

The life had stopped for the last more than 50 hours now. It pains so much to know that the bleeding is still continuing with the death toll going upwards 160. Whatever measures have been taken / would be taken can never return the lives of those who lost and scar would be left permanently. My heart cries for those who left this world in such a horrific incident. I only wish the peace is restored at the earliest with the least possible damage.

I watched on the TV that the Taj Hotel Staff did their best to protect the lives of the hostages in the face of heavily armed terror. It goes to show the how much the people here tried their best to safeguard its visitors.

I touch the feet of those brave men who staked their lives in the quest to save the innocent. Its the devotion, worship, commitment and all those adjectives to describe the best at work, were demonstrated by the Police, NSG Commando's, Marine Commando's in this operation. I extend my full sympathy and condolence's to the families who have lost their loved ones.

Tolerance: A characteristic to foster effective living

I just started to think the last few days with how my dad is managing things quite effectively. The take home point was, he has lots of tolerance. The gains I could see are he has more patience to sustain a hostile environment and can keep himself in pursuit of the objective he is on. When we all know that life is full of challenges, with a mix of pain and pleasure, happiness and sorrow “Tolerance” is one such positive mental attitude which can help you stay in balance.

Nevertheless there may be situations where we look ineffective at times but on a long run people do see you as a person with maturity and can always develop a soft corner for you. It’s not a technique however but a natural way of accommodating things in life and you don’t seem to be worried much about the painful things about life. As we all know we have things which can also cause pain in life and not just pleasure. The two brothers exist along side and we need to know how to strike a balance between them.

Now if someone is forcing on you to do something you don’t like you can always say it a bit polite but firmly. There is nothing harm in dealing like that. Once again it’s a sign of your tolerance limits and the situations in life always keep you checking on it. The more you can be tolerant the less will be your frustration. Whatever the amount of frustration you carry will again need that much of cooling time and all of this time adds no value to your life.

Let’s start making an attempt to improve on our tolerance. It not only helps you endure effective relationships but also can quickly rebuild a shattered one. If life is something about making good, making good from what is broken the lets cultivate our attitude to have this wonderful characteristic “Tolerance”.

Life,
undoubtedly one of the most precious we can think of... and what makes it even more important is how we make it more and more beautiful with our experiences. With that said, how are we going to have those experiences which make you feel wonderful and special. Its not that we need to feel special always but the things we do should matter not only for us but the society and family members in a way that makes everyone happy. Now the next thing is what makes you and all happy... is it one which everyone likes or something which is done with the honest intention of making things better though in the short term it may cause a bit of discomfort.... yes its obviously the second one and requires some courage and wisdom to do that right thing.

Now how do you get that courage and wisdom ? Its by those healthy thoughts and healthy mind. And how we do get that state of health..... the cycle continues. But lets make an effort to find the answer.

You can get a state of good health and mind when you do what required in the way it needs to be done. Starting the day with correct planning of how and what you want to do, then executing according to the time, this way we can feel control of things. And as long as you are in control of things you have time for everything and you can do what you want.

Its a short time we are all going to be here.. if our predecessors have made it better lets try to make it even better for the next set of people who are going to come.. Our happiness is found in making others also happy...

It would obviously be a genuine feeling when your efforts were successful in acheiving something, you made someone feel good or you did something which was good to someone who you loved. And just the otherway round when we were sad !!!

So be happy and make others happy !!!!
