Dear All,
Rather I just say
dearest all, what I am going to describe here is something that's in my heart
for a very long time. I think of it as a dream project in my mind of the
highest value. There is nothing more valuable that I can think of sharing
between all of us and pass to future generations. I am extremely confident that
all of us would like the idea that am going to share in a bit. This is going to
be a time consuming process and it requires a great attention and care from all
of you as much as an infant requires from their mother. It's a seed that needs
to be nourished with your love, enthusiasm, vision to see create the most
invaluable asset we can ever build in our entire life time. So, let's get into
a 10 feet detail to start with.
As I mentioned earlier,
it's going to take time and it can be an evolving round of thoughts to be
gathered from all of you.
I wanted to create a
collection of video's (mainly), where all our Sadhu family members from the
Ganapavaram Tree (our majestic Grandfather Satyanarayana Sharma & revered
Grand mother Smt. Sadhu Subbamma garu) will be part of this dream project. I
guess one of the first things could be to come up with a name for this
monumental effort. What we would like to have as part of this video will be as
follows.
- Introduction to Sadhu Family. (from deepest roots that
we can re-collect)
- What our family stands for, our core values, how we are
all so closely connected having such a big family.
- No one is perfect in this world and every family has
certain challenges, but we are all together, what makes us love each
other.
- A video interview (similar to Open Heart by RK in ABN
Channel) where our 9 fathers / spouses share their life experiences in a
nut shell. (To be decided on the length of video).
- We all know that ageing is something common for all us,
it’s the heaviest truth, but something I can’t digest. But reality is
reality, we would like to preserve what we can in our hearts and be able
to pass it on to future generations this way.
- Cover all off springs (Generation 3 - Eg: Kiran annayya, Ravi
bava - staring with elders - till Chinna bujji babai's son) of these 9
brothers/sisters(Generation 2) group and their off springs (Generation 4 -
Not sure who is the eldest ? May be Koushik ? Youngest I think Vijay's
daughter.
- There can be a more items as we work on this project.
Thank you for taking time to read
through, as you can guess by now, this is going to take time and hearty effort to
build such a video. But our biggest advantage is ourselves working together. Just
like a small key open a big door, all this project requires is, your smart
phone, a good environment to make our parents comfortable and you will take
video collecting their experiences, values and reference pictures, like our
Ganapavaram home, school where we played lot of Cricket, back yard tub, well
where we had lot of fun as kids, the list can just be anything that’s part of
building a great memorable collection. We will need a common list of questions.
I am also planning to get in touch
with a professional anchor who did such interviews of celebrities, in stage 2 I
will engage a professional to make a beautiful movie kind of CD encapsulating
all of what we collected in bits and pieces. There will be professional editing
and everything that it needs to make this video a very memorable one.
Any one of you volunteering to come forward
and share some of this project load is most welcome. I talked to Kiran annayya and he
gladly accepted to help and guide.
